GENERAL WELFARE
There are two (2) types of support services provided, namely: -
Monthly Welfare Assistance and Emergency and Other Relief

PENSIONS
This service is provided to those aged 60 years and above and to the disabled.<< more >>

FAMILY AND CHILDREN
The role of Family Services is to address issues such as abuse and neglect, whereas Children's services deals with aspects of protection, registration and development.

COUNSELLING AND ADVICE
The role of this service is provide assistance in helping an individual get a deeper understanding of oneself as well as improving their problem solving skills.

EMPLOYMENT
Provides support to the less fortunate who wish to apply for work, continue their service for salaried (daily paid) 65 year old workers.

SERVICE FOR PEOPLE WITH SPECIAL NEEDS
People with special needs are encouraged to register with JAPEM for assistance and rehabilitation.<< more >>

COMMUNITY REHABILITATION
Community Rehabilitation helps people with special needs in their recovery when they are unable to follow the training for specific reasons.

CHILD CARE CENTER
People wishing to establish a Day Care Centre for Children should submit their applications to the Department for registration. The license will then be issued in a timely manner.<< more >>

APPLICATION FOR CITIZENSHIP AND PERMANENT RESIDENT STATUS FOR ADOPTED CHILDREN
Applicants should submit their application to the Department of Immigration and National Registration.<< more >>

HELPLINE KEBAJIKAN 141
Helpline Kebajikan 141  provides an efficient communication channel for people to contact JAPEM relating to cases of abuse, neglect, protection, exploitation, counseling, family problems and so on. These cases will be given the utmost attention and priority.

SCHEME FOR TEMPORARY FOSTERING
This Scheme for Temporary Fostering is intended to for children, including teenagers under the age of 18. This scheme supports the requirements outlined under the Children and Young Persons Order, 2006, Chapter 2 (a) - (h).<< more >>

Community Empowerment Programme is a capacity building program that offers skills training, entrepreneurship training, business skills and personal development to specific groups and their families.
